Little Hands Occupational Therapy will provide services to children with special needs in Canberra to enable them to experience the wonders in their surrounding and allow them to participate in and influence their environment. The aim is to empower parents to become confident supporters of their child’s development and advocate on their behalf to achieve the best possible result in all areas of their lives.



Little Hands Occupational Therapy is servicing clients in the Canberra/ACT region and surrounds. We are also a registered NDIS provider.

  • Neuro-developmental approach for infants and toddler
  • Early intervention for babies with brain injuries
  • Animal assisted therapy
  • Relationship based early intervention
  • Parent education and teacher training (hand skills and sensory processing)
  • All ability holiday program
  • Group interventions (teenager boys club, meal time group, developmental play group, school preparation group) 

We are working closely with other allied health professionals and value a multidisciplinary approach.  Our services are being conducted in clinic, home or school enviroment.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder 
  • Genetic disorders (down syndrome, DiGeorge syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Myotonic Dystrophy, Tuberous Sclerosis, Ohtahara Syndrome).
  • Congenital heart defect/disease 
  • Other neurological disorders
